Dear Students, Faculty, Staff, and Friends of MBUST,
It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to the Madhesh Bioscience and Technology University. Since our founding in 2022, we have embarked on an extraordinary journey to create an institution that not only educates but inspires, not only researches but innovates, and not only dreams but delivers.
MBUST was born out of a vision to address the unique challenges and opportunities of our region through specialized education in biosciences, sustainable agriculture, and emerging technologies. We recognized that traditional educational models, while valuable, needed to evolve to meet the demands of the 21st century.
Our programs in Organic Agriculture, Forest Biomaterials, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Sustainable Infrastructure represent our commitment to preparing students for the jobs and challenges of tomorrow.

Whether it’s developing drought-resistant crops for farmers in the Terai, creating sustainable building materials from forest products, or using AI to improve healthcare delivery in rural areas, our research has real-world impact.
I am particularly proud of our partnerships with international institutions and industry leaders. These collaborations not only enhance the quality of our research but also provide our students with global exposure and opportunities. In just three years, our faculty and students have published numerous research papers in prestigious journals and presented their work at conferences around the world.
Looking Ahead
As we look to the future, I see unlimited potential. We are expanding our programs, building new facilities, and forming new partnerships. But our vision remains the same: to be a university that transforms lives and transforms society through education, research, and innovation.
Our success will be measured not by rankings or awards, but by the impact our graduates have on the world. When I see our alumni starting innovative companies, leading research teams, improving agricultural practices, or serving their communities, I know we are fulfilling our mission.
